FREE 60-DAY DEMO INSTRUCTIONS:
The files included with this download allow you to install a fully
complete version of HorseWorks™ Lite on your computer. In addition to
the Setup.exe file, you will notice three additional files; (Manual.hlp,
Trouble.hlp, and Tutorial.hlp).The installation setup requires these
files to remain in the same folder as the Setup.exe file when installing
the demo. These files are part of the HorseWorks™ program, and will be
installed into the main Horseworks™ application folder.
Please select the link below to bring up the download screen. Select the "Save" or "Save to Disk" option, and then select your desktop as the download location. Next, log off the Internet, and then double-click on the HWKS-Demo.exe file that you just downloaded. This will bring up an extraction panel. You can choose the default C:\temp folder, or you can select the small box to the right of the default field, and then choose to extract the files to your desktop. Which ever destination you choose, there will be a total of 4 files that will be extracted. Simply double click on the Setup.ex file to install HorseWorks™.
During installation, you will be prompted to enter a serial number. Please
enter the following temporary serial number when prompted: 555000
Once you have successfully completed the installation, you can start the
HorseWorks™ application by selecting the Horseworks™ shortcut on your desktop, or by going to the Start menu, then to Programs,
then to HorseWorks™.
The demo will operate for 60 days, during which a
pop-up panel will inform you on the number of days remaining before your trial period expires. To use the demo, select "Register Later" on the pop-up registration screen.
As you begin to use and experiment with the demo program, you can use the help menu in HorseWorks™ to provide step-by-step user instructions. If you decide to purchase HorseWorks™, we will provide you with a "Validation Code" to permanently activate the program. Please note that all the information you enter while in the demo mode is preserved in the HorseWorks database when you convert to the purchased version.
